Illustrated talks\u00a0 and discussion from Meath County Council Biodiversity Officer, a local historian, the Rivers Trust, LAWPRO & volunteers from Eco-Centre Sonairte<\/div>\n
followed by\u00a0 a short ramble along a woodland trail to the edge of the Nanny estuary (from 4pm to 4.30pm) where participants will be able to view a small patch of\u00a0 the invasive alien plant species Spartina which local volunteers have been attempting to manage\/eradicate.\u00a0 Appropriate sturdy footwear is recommended along with warm waterproof clothing.<\/div>\n
