Galway, Join Friends of Kilconly Wetlands on World Wetlands Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Join Friends of Kilconly Wetlands to discover the hidden world of our wetlands this World Wetlands Day &#8211; Monday 2nd Feb at 11am.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Janet Laffey from Local Authority Waters Programme (LAWPRO) will be there to share how they support local communities, the interconnections between surface water and groundwater and about what&#8217;s putting pressure on our rivers and streams.<\/div>\n<div>Janet will also be doing a kick sampling demonstration so you can see the incredible insects that call our rivers home and all without getting your feet wet!<\/div>\n<div>Want to become a citizen scientist? Janet will show you how to join the CSSI program and help monitor the health of our wetlands in your own community.<\/div>\n<div>All welcome!
