The exhibition will be launched at 3.00 pm on Thursday February 2nd by Ms Kasia Nikraszewicz of the Ramsar Convention Secretariat. This will be followed by light refreshments. All are welcome to attend.

You can learn more about wetlands by visiting the exhibition from February 3rd-17th (Monday to Friday 9am to 5 pm). The results of the 2016 Coastwatch Annual Survey will be on display along with information on Ramsar wetlands. Photographs of North Bull Island by wildlife enthusiasts from the Celbridge Camera Club will also be on display along with the story of the iconic migratory Brent Goose. View the work of local BT Young Scientists from Gonzaga College on the Brent Geese of Sandymount Stand. See how schoolchildren from St Louise’s Junior School Ballyfermot, St Malachy’s Raheny and St Joseph CBS Primary School Fairview became Brent Goose Ambassadors for the Dublin Bay Biosphere. There will be free biodiversity identification guides to take home. See how you can get involved in taking action to protect our city’s wetlands.
