Join Friends of Kilconly Wetlands to discover the hidden world of our wetlands this World Wetlands Day!
We are delighted that Janet Laffey from the Local Authority Water Programme (LAWPRO) will be joining us to share how they support local communities, the interconnections between surface water and groundwater and about what’s putting pressure on our rivers and streams.
Janet will also be doing a kick sampling demonstration so you can see the incredible insects that call our rivers home and all without getting your feet wet!
Want to become a citizen scientist? Janet will show you how to join the CSSI program and help monitor the health of our wetlands in your own community.
